Welcome to Damian Washington.com!

Damian Washington, an actor classically trained at the LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts in New York City, has appeared in commercial, voiceover, theater and film projects. At age 14, he starred in Amyn Kaderali's Little Man, which screened worldwide and received numerous awards, including Best Short Film at Slamdance and an NYU Wasserman Award. In 1999, he received a full scholarship to attend Middlebury College. While studying theater at Middlebury, he began to make music and, after internships at Sony Music International and Columbia Pictures, became interested in entertainment business.

During the summer of 2006, Damian produced the soundtrack for the the IT'SUGAR Candy Rappers. IT'SUGAR is a 6,000 sq. foot candy store at the Pier at Caesars, a $200 million retail, dining and entertainment complex in Atlantic City. Whether it involved creating the music, writing and performing lyrics, or concept development, Damian was given the task of breathing life into a vision of music that was candy themed, but also hip enough to be embraced by people of all ages.

Currently, Damian is working with Ryan Bilsborrow-Koo and Zachary Lieberman on The West Side, an urban western set in a unique, alternate universe that melds together elements of two disparate film genres: the grit of an urban setting with the tradition of the American Western.
